About the China Small Commodities City Exhibition Center
The China Small Commodities City Exhibition Center covers an area of over 60,000 square meters, with 46,200 square meters of exhibition space incorporating international and domestic exhibition, meeting, intellectual network, and dining multifunctional facilities. The center, which was built with a 150 million yuan investment from China Commodity City Group Co., Ltd, is one of the biggest-scale professional exhibition halls in East China, and subordinates to the director unit of China Exhibition Hall Association.
The exhibition center is conveniently located near numerous hotels of varying class, is 20 minutes away from the Yiwu Airport and only two kilometers from the rail station. It adjoins Bingwang Road to the west, Jiangdong East Road in the east, and is adjacent to the Sports Center and its large-scale Stadium, which can seat 40,000 people.
General Info
With the development of building industry and the improvement of living standard, people have more and more higher requirements on lighting equipments, not only requiring lighting equipments’ lighting effect but also paying more attention to lighting equipments’ decorative effect. As a result, the lighting equipment industry speeds up to develop. As per incomplete statistics, the world lighting equipments’ total trade volume reaches USD200billion. As one of the important bases for the consuming, exporting and producing of Light industry in China, Zhejiang P.R. plays an important role. Yiwu, located in the central of Zhejiang Province, has a strong coverage on world market and high world popularity and is honored as world commodity sourcing supermarket. Now ,Yiwu possesses the global largest wholesale market and Market business area reaches 1.5million sq. meters and 320,000 kinds of commodities get here together. Daily customer flow reaches 200,000. Daily goods handling capacity reaches nearly10,000ton. Annual Transaction volume reached up to 38.89 Billion Yuan, 19.6% increased, Commodities transaction volume reached up to 28.85 Billion Yuan, 8.1% increased, Which is continuously on the top of national international market. The first Lighting fair was opened on September, 2007 at Yiwu international commodity city exhibition center. The exhibition set up 323 booths and has an area of 8000 sq meters. 267 enterprises took part in the exhibition including China General Agencies of world famous brand enterprises, Domestic known brand producers,, distributors and agencies. This exhibition got the support of Zhejiang Lighting Association , Yiwu Market Development Bureau, and Zhejiang Yiwu Forestry Develop Co., Ltd. During the three days , more than 8632 buyers from 130 countries and regions came to visit the expo and 37 of them signed trade contracts with the total amount of 24,790,000RMB, achieving 478 intention contracts with the amount of 13.5million. In addition, all sorts of lighting sold 1.63million on the scene. 90% of exhibitors thought they have achieve the goal, 92.2% of visitor showed their satisfaction.
In order to make China lighting enterprises further develop and explore market and establish domestic and overseas sales net systems and brand, the organizing committee is scheduled to hold the 2nd China Yiwu International Lighting Fair 2008 on September 24-26,2008 at China Commodities City Exhibition Center. The promotion work for the exhibition will be on the basis of the great success of the first China Yiwu International Lighting Fair. It is estimated that the show area will reach up to 17000 sq meters. No matter the scale of the exhibitors or the profession of purchasers is higher than that of before. It will also increase the intensity of overseas publicity, meet the domestic enterprises’ demands on exploring the overseas market and organize the international purchasers extensively to visit the exhibition and purchaser commodities. It is hoped by the Organizing Committee that this Expo will promote the extensive communications and cooperation between Lighting Equipments industry and the professional lighting purchaser from Europe and North America so as to promote the overall development of China Lighting industry,
